Sidley Young Peoples Centre currently supports 110 young people 11-19 years –Open 4 evenings per week, offering various services and resources for young people. The next stage of development is the founding of a Youth Forum for the SYPC. Funding from Safer Rother (Crime & Disorder Partnership) has provided a full-time worker to support young people on Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABC’s) and Anti- Social Behaviour Orders (ASBO’s). Most of the work is in individual support and implementation of intervention strategies for young people and their families.
