Children & Family Services
are covered by the following services, which are funded by Bexhill & Sidley Sure Start:
- Toy Library, including 2 family days each week
- Parent Scope – outreach visiting scheme for parents
- Parent Get Togethers- Outreach parent & Toddler groups covering the Bexhill area.
- Tums to Twos – Weekly group for under two’s
On behalf of Sure Start, external consultants have evaluated Parent Scope and Toy Library, giving excellent reports and very high satisfaction ratings for both services.
Children and Family services support the community in a variety of areas; Bexhill and Sidley Sure Start and East Sussex County Council fund us and we aim to provide services to ensure children receive safe and effective care throughout childhood, gaining maximum life change benefits from educational opportunities, healthcare and social care. Our services are based on a need in the local area and are tailored around the five core areas in the Government agenda ‘Every child Matters’
