Children’s Centre
Sure Start Bexhill has been awarded Children’s Centre status, the first in East Sussex. Rainbow childcare Centre and the SCA complex form a spoke of the new Children’s Centre, with Egerton Park Learning & Childcare Centre forming the hub.
Operational Management of the Centre and services is overseen by a full time Chief Executive Officer, with administrative and financial support by two part time posts.
SCA is a dedicated voluntary sector community service delivery team with access to a central base, with the skills, resources and links to other agencies/organisations to support the people of Sidley and surrounding neighbourhood. Outcomes are a ‘One Stop Shop‘ voluntary sector approach to delivering professional quality services to the community in the area.
To manage these projects and the Centre, the organisation currently employs 38 staff, 14 full-time and 24 part-time posts, with two full-time secondments.
